The Group is a real pioneer and has unique expertise, guaranteeing its partners profitable and long-term development in these high-potential markets. The CFAO group is the trusted partner of the largest brands in its four divisions: Mobility, Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Technology & Energy.

Building on its African expertise and aware of the opportunities offered by the continent, CFAO created CFAO Retail to establish an ambitious development strategy in the mass retail sector in Western and Central Africa. This involves deploying a network of several dozen sales outlets (shopping arcades, hypermarkets and supermarkets) to satisfy the consumption needs of the African middle classes.

In order to carry out this strategy, CFAO Retail has agreed an alliance with CARREFOUR, the second largest mass retail player in the world. The two groups will develop the retail brand in various formats in three Western and Central African countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon and Senegal.

To ensure the appeal of its shopping centres, CFAO Retail has also concluded franchise partnerships with well-known international Brands looking to expand into African markets.

The shopping centres developed will therefore offer their customers a comprehensive and unique shopping experience, in a modern setting.
